The study program is focused on modeling software systems, object programming, or development of network applications. The program emphasizes practical skills evolving the team spirit, analytical methods, interconnection of design of hardware and software, or testing of systems. It is also focused on database systems, user environment of both mobile and web applications, and simultaneously testing its functionality. The students will touch the area of cryptology and artificial intelligence too. The study program is focused on information technologies that are in demand in the labor market. The study consists of a combination of both practical and theoretical knowledge, which enables the graduates to go directly to the practice. The graduates also gain enough experience to be able to continue studying master’s study programs focused on information technologies. Graduates will gain knowledge of individual levels of the hardware architecture of computer systems, especially digital circuits, processors, data storage, computer networks, database, and operational systems. They will gain knowledge of not only analysis, design, development, testing, deployment, and maintenance of purely software systems, but also systems combining the design and development of both hardware and software. A graduate will also gain knowledge of information systems, the security of information systems, development of user interface, and application of computer graphics. A graduate will be able to apply knowledge of programming mobile and web technologies. A graduate will have an overview of modern technologies in the area of artificial intelligence. The graduates may apply as members of the design and testing teams in software companies. They can be employed in industrial or sales companies as designers or administrators of software products. The graduates will be able to manage their own software company or lead a team of software developers, designers of a user interface or software testers. Further possibilities for the graduates are a design of web pages, computer network administration, computer graphics, or programming of microcontroller applications.
